The Xiaomi Imagery Awards is an annual photography contest hosted by Xiaomi since 2019. For 2023, it aim to promote diverse imagery, encouraging shutterbugs and filmmakers to submit videos and pictures that convey a different vision, different stories.

The project introduced a cloud monitoring system that emerged in the post-pandemic era to assist with filming. Yang, stationed in London, worked alongside the production team to set up a remote monitoring system. This system enabled real-time collaboration across continents, with live sound and video feedback from the set transmitted to the directing team in Shanghai, China. This innovative approach significantly enhanced production efficiency and reduced operational costs.
